The Gap staff are as follows:
I came to Warwick in 2002 from Luton. I worked in Luton as a keyworker at a charity for people with alcohol problems. I then came to Warwick and worked in Adult learning (for people wanting to improve their skills in literacy, numeracy and IT) both for the County Council & an independent organisation. I started at The Gap in January 2008.
My job at The Gap is to ensure the smooth day to day running of the Centre and to ensure that the building is kept clean and safe. I sit at reception and greet everyone who comes into the Centre and I do all the administration and finances.
I'm Marcos, married and have three children, two little girls and a baby boy. I come from Brazil and I have lived in the UK now since 2007. In Brazil, I used to work with street children and children at risk. Unfortunately, we've got lots of children living on streets and I was very happy to do something for them and try to help as I could. I'm Youth and Families Development Manager for The Gap now and I'm very happy to be working with young people in this country. I really want to see the young people making the most of their opportunities and have a great future ahead of them.
